Realm access requires authentication from your company’s identity provider.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models. Realm uses private, enterprise-grade AI endpoints with secure, zero-retention policies when using language models.

Where is my data hosted?

Realm is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). By default, all customer data is stored and processed on servers located within European Union (EU).

How is data deleted or retained?

If you delete data from your source system (e.g., a document in Google Drive), that deletion is reflected in Realm, typically is less than hour. Realm retains data for the duration of the Customer Relationship. If the relationship ends, data is will be erased and deleted.

Does Realm respect my existing access permissions?

Yes. Realm is built around the principle of least privilege and strictly mirrors your organization's existing permission model. Users can only access data and view search results that they already have permission to see in the source application, such as Slack, Confluence, and Google Drive.

What authentication methods are supported?

We support Single Sign-On (SSO) and SAML 2.0.

What encryption methods does Realm use?

All communication between users and the Realm application, as well as data exchanged between backend systems and databases, is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. All databases, data stores, and file systems are encrypted at rest with AES-256 encryption.

What security certifications does Realm have?

Realm is ISO 27001 certified, which means our security practices meet internationally recognized standards. We follow strict controls for data protection, risk management, and ongoing compliance to keep your information secure.
